Adam Kirkham
For Adam Kirkham, a second generation Realtor®, you could say that Real Estate is a family business. Born and raised in Utah, Adam attended Olympus High School and later graduated from the University of Utah. While in school Adam worked at Kirkham Real Estate, the family-owned boutique Real Estate company started by his mother Carolyn Kirkham, a well-known Realtor® in the Salt Lake Valley. Adam entered the real estate world as a sign-post installer for his family and eventually went on to hold down every job possible at Kirkham Real Estate - including, but not limited to, listing photographer, self-learned web designer, marketing coordinator, and anything he could do to help family company run smoothly.
In 2005, after years of learning the trade first-hand, Adam had come to the realization that his future career was in Real Estate. He obtained his real estate license and helped grow Kirkham Real Estate into one of the premiere boutique offices in Salt Lake City alongside his mother and brother. Adam eventually joined Summit Sotheby's International Realty, a full-service brokerage catering to the entire state of Utah, serving as a Managing Broker in the Salt Lake City area.
From 2011 to 2018, Adam earned the prestigious Salt Lake Board of Realtors® Hall of Fame Award, an award only given to a few dozen realtors in his marketplace. He has been a recipient of the Realtor 500 Award in 2019 and 2020. Adam served as the Salt Lake Board of Realtors® President in 2018 and will serve as the Utah Association of Realtors® Treasurer in 2021. Most recently, Adam was named the 2020 Realtor of the Year by the Salt Lake Board of Realtors®, recognized by his peers for his exceptional level of service and standards in the real estate field.
Adam is married and the father to an amazing son and three wonderful daughters. His favorite thing outside of the real estate world is to spend time with his children outside in their garden on the small family farm they own. He loves anything having to do with basketball, having played since he was a boy, and is an avid NBA fan and roots for the University of Utah teams. For the last five years he's been a volunteer coach for the Olympus Jr. High Boys Basketball team and enjoys attending games with his children and wife Leslee.
